Local Area

We are lucky to be located on the coast, surrounded by sandy beaches and the mountains of Snowdonia. We are spoilt for choice with training locations for our courses, and the mountains and coastline offer endless adventure and touring activities to do. So if you are looking to extend your visit, you’ll find this makes a great base for an adventure break.

Heading west out of Conwy, the Menai Strait and Lleyn Peninsula offers some unspoilt and picturesque harbours, coves and small islands for sailing, kayaking and powerboating. Up the Conwy valley, we have the UK’s first inland surf lagoon for surfing, bodyboarding and SUP action. We are at the gateway to Snowdonia, with miles of hiking and biking tracks and crags and cliffs just waiting to be climbed. The North Wales coastal path makes it easy to explore the historic towns, castles and bridges dotted along the coast.
