Sail the Rugged Coast, Coves & Harbours of North Wales
Join us for 10 days of unforgettable sailing along the north Wales coastline, exploring the culture and castles of this beautiful, uncongested sailing region against the backdrop of the majestic Snowdonia mountains. Enjoy some warm Welsh hospitality at four exciting coastal stop-offs along the way – Holyhead, Conwy, Caernarfon and Porth Dinllaen. If the North Wales coastline remains unexplored sailing territory or you would just like to venture further in the company of other likeminded sailors, this new format event is a must!
The Castle Cruise allows you to sail to your own timetable between stopovers, visiting anchorages, harbours and landmarks of your own choice whilst enjoying the company of other crews at our social evenings hosted at the castles, sailing clubs and anchorages along the way.
We will also be offering informal sail training workshops exploring, for example, downwind sailing techniques, sail trim & weather pattens around the world. In addition to this we will be offering discounted RYA shorebased short courses such as Sea Survival, VHF radio and First Aid at planned intervals and in this way we hope to help you you gain confidence, gain new skill and have an enjoyable and social cruise.
In our ‘Along the Way’ guide, you’ll find plenty of suggestions and useful information for sailing areas, places to visit ashore, restaurants and bars to help you make the most of your holiday.
